The Ambassador Hotel in Redcliffe is currently seeking a committed & qualified Chef to join our established kitchen team. You will have the opportunity to work for an independently owned hospitality group that values and nurtures their employees to maximise performance and personal growth.

You will be working alongside a passionate Head Chef as part of the kitchen team assisting with the preparation, cooking and plating of meals during service periods.

Essential Attributes:

Previous professional experience in a fast-paced kitchen

Certificate III in Commercial Cookery

Positive attitude contributing to a positive work environment and be a team player

You can work with autonomy to manage your own time and follow direction while un-supervised

Strong WH&S knowledge and HACCAP Food Handling experience

Strong knowledge of kitchen procedures and operations

Attention to detail and a passion for food quality, presentation and consistency

Punctual, reliable and presentable

Sense of urgency and strong time management skills
