Your new company

This national, leading manufacturing company is seeking a temporary bookkeeper to assist with a recent uplift in work for the business. Initially required to assist through to the end of the financial year, there is a strong possibility of extension.

Your new role

Supporting the small finance team, you will take care of the day-to-day accounts and bookkeeping tasks in MYOB, including the following:

• Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
  
• Reconciling bank accounts and credit card statements
  
• Preparation of financial reports and statements
  
• GL reconciliations, journals and accruals
  
• End of month reporting
  

You will have the support of the accounts team day-to-day and liaise with the external accountant for end-of-month reporting.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will have prior experience of taking care of the full-function bookkeeping duties for a medium sized business, ideally within MYOB. You will also be able to demonstrate your ability to handle a high workload with accuracy. Confidence in reconciliation tasks will be essential and the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
