Global retailer with very reputable brand. Looking for a Health & Wellbeing specialist to support employees as they return to work after injury. Based in Sydney NSW.

Responsibilities;

  • Manage the return-to-work process for injured employees, including clear communication with all parties involved.
  • Oversee injury reporting and investigation procedures, ensuring accurate documentation and the involvement of healthcare providers, while developing tailored return-to-work plans.
  • Work alongside managers and employees to assess workplace adjustments and accommodations to facilitate a safe return.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations regarding injury reporting and corrective actions with insurers and governing bodies.
  • Develop and manage injury prevention programs to foster a safer working environment.
  • Deliver training on injury prevention, return-to-work procedures, and safety best practices.
  • Maintain up-to-date records on injury reports and related documentation.
  • Assess the success of injury management and return-to-work initiatives.
  • Stay informed about the latest industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
  • Coordinate with Payroll to ensure accurate processing of reimbursements.
  • Support the Employee Assistance Program, ensuring accessibility for all employees.
  • Utilize clinical experience and problem-solving abilities to assess injuries and facilitate the return-to-work process.
  • Conduct worksite assessments to identify effective return-to-work strategies aligned with recovery milestones.

Requirements

  • MUST HAVE a tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Nursing, Osteopathy, or Social Work.
  • Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve common goals.
  • A current driver’s license and access to a car.
  • A genuine passion for helping others through rehabilitation.
