Eaglehawk Hotel and Bistro is looking Casual Chefs, Cooks, FOH and Bar staffs. Eaglehawk hotel and bistro is a well-established, food driven modern - country Pub in Sutton. We pride ourselves on fresh, seasonal ingredients, a dynamic menu, and a strong worker culture that value teamwork, professionalism and creativity.

Chef/Cook role

  • As a Chef/ Cook, you will be managing a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring high standards of preparation, cooking an presentation
  • You will work closely with the Head chef and Sous chef. You will be working across all kitchen section as needed, including grill, larder, fryers, and pans
  • Follow the recipe is a must to maintain food preparation standard
  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and food safety standard in compliance with HACCP.

Front of house role:

  • Welcoming guests, managing reservations and ensuring efficient seating arrangements
  • Taking the order and communicating the order to the kitchen
  • Addressing guests enquires, concerns, dietary and complaints in professional manners
  • Maintaining cleanliness in the dining area, including tables, restroom, and waiting area
  • Setting the table according to the Hotel standards
  • Handling cash and credit card transaction accurately
  • Maintaining stock/ inventory used for the bistro such as Napkin and cutleries.

Bar Staff Role:

  • Pouring and mixing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails and beer
  • Serving customers in a friendly and polite manner
  • Keeping the bar area clean and tidy.
  • Restocking the bar with drinks, ice, and other supplies
  • Handling the payments accurately
  • Handling the complaints professionally and reporting to the bar Manager/Supervisor/Duty Manager

We are looking:

  • A team player with positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster including, evening, weekends and public holidays
  • Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume kitchen and bistro
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
