Daosa is a fine wine company who owns and operate vineyards around Summertown. It is family owned, independent and driven by sustainability and excellence.

About the role

Reporting directly to the owner, the role involves day to day operation of the vineyards, including irrigation, ground maintenance, spraying program and supervision of vineyard crews.

Key requirements include

In coordination with the owners :

• run all activities associated with viticulture, including spraying, slashing, trimming and all other required tasks to manage the vineyard to the best standards.
• Maintain and run irrigation in the vineyards.
• Manage crews in both vineyards for pruning, vine training, harvest and all other tasks required to achieve production of high quality grapes.
• Maintain and run vineyard equipment.
• As the case may be, manage redevelopment and all new vineyard developments.

About You

A previous experience in Viticulture is essential along with the ability to lead in a hands-on manner whilst collaborating effectively with owners of Daosa.

Good mechanical skills, good people management skills, good knowledge of vineyard irrigation management and maintenance.

Valid Driver's license, Forklift License and Chem Cert required.
