Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team at Integrated Brands Group. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the financial stability and growth of our organization across our diverse divisions. As an Accountant, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment, contributing to the continued success of our company. This role offers salary ranging $95,000-$105,000 per annum + super.

Key Responsibilities:

• Stewarding IBG's critical accounting policies and maintaining budget controls.
• Summarizing Xero's data to compile financial statements for presentation directors & regulatory bodies
• Analyzing profit margins for the Group by diving deep into operating expenses and income and providing commentary to divisions.
• Ensuring statutory requirements are met and upholding the accuracy of information in financial reports.
• As we expand to east coast, we'll require sound financial and tax advice to assist our operations.
• Responsible for BAS and Tax Returns of the Group.
• Collaborating with Westpac and other financial institutions with regards to funds arrangements and assessing cash flow.
• Review and manage systems that interface with the Group's Xero, a computer-based accounting system.
• Upholding internal control systems and monitoring financial risk associated with the Group's investment.
• Carrying out financial investigations, preparing reports, performing audits, and being the key point of contact on advice on matters including financing for inventories, business transactions, and taxation.

The Right Candidate:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role and previous work in an SME environment.
• Tertiary qualification in Business/Commerce/Accounting or equivalent degree.
• Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) qualification or working towards it.
• Experience with software in our tech stack including Xero, Gorgias, Shopify, Fathom & PowerBI will be highly regarded.
• Advanced Excel skills and a high level of numerical and analytical skills are essential.
