About the role
As A Specialist Nurse within the MATSICHS Pain Services you will focus on coordinating a comprehensive multidisciplinary pain service specifically designed to meet the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with persistent pain in the Metro North catchment. The role supports these goals by ensuring the efficient and culturally sensitive delivery of pain management services, fostering collaboration among healthcare providers, and driving continuous improvement in care quality and accessibility.
Within this role, you will be required to:
- Provide operational oversight of the Pain Service at MATSICHS.
- Manage clinic performance, ensuring a comprehensive, holistic, and culturally appropriate healthcare service.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team, including internal staff and visiting healthcare providers.
- Facilitate collaboration and integration of care among various health professionals.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by monitoring program data and client feedback.
- Provide regular reports to MATSICHS Management on program operations and performance.
About you
- Current C Class Drivers Licence (QLD)
- Current Criminal History Check
- Bachelor of Nursing Qualification
- Current APHRA Registration
- Current Blue Card (prior to commencement)
- Current Disability Workers Screening Check (prior to commencement)
- Current CPR Certificate
