About the Role: As a Transport Administrator (Freight Clerk) at SRT Logistics, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods throughout our supply chain network. Your exceptional organisational and communication skills will be utilised to manage various administrative tasks and support our team in delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Roster

• Monday to Friday - 9:30am Shift start
• Full Time
• Permanent

Responsibilities:

• Process and manage incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain and update shipment records, tracking information, and related documentation.
• Coordinate with drivers, warehouse staff, and other stakeholders to schedule deliveries and pickups.
• Pallet control
• Handle customer inquiries and provide timely updates on shipment statuses.
• Collaborate with carriers and vendors to negotiate rates and secure transportation services.
• Generate shipping invoices, purchase orders, and other essential paperwork.
• Assist in resolving any logistical challenges and provide proactive solutions.
• Uphold strict safety standards and adhere to transportation regulation.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a similar administrative or freight-related role preferred.
• Familiarity with logistics software and tracking systems is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Knowledge of freight forwarding procedures and regulations.
• A team player with a customer-focused approach.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Office 365, spreadsheet management).

Desirable:

• Forklift Licence
