About the role

Badgery & Rafferty', a respected law firm based in Canberra ACT 2600, is seeking an experienced Solicitor to join our dynamic team. As a full-time Solicitor, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality legal services to our diverse client base. What you'll be doing

• Advising clients on a wide range of legal matters, including but not limited to commercial contracts, property transactions, and dispute resolution
• Conducting thorough legal research and analysis to support client matters
• Drafting and reviewing legal documents such as contracts, agreements, and correspondence
• Representing clients in court proceedings and negotiations
• Maintaining a collaborative relationship with clients and colleagues to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
• Continuously expanding your legal knowledge and staying up-to-date with industry developments

What we're looking for

• A Bachelor of Law degree or equivalent legal qualification
• Minimum 3 years of post-admission experience as a Solicitor, preferably in a generalist law firm
• Strong understanding of various areas of law, including commercial, property, and dispute resolution
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts in a clear and concise manner
• Proven track record of providing exceptional client service and building long-lasting relationships
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with legal industry trends
