In addition, they provide polystyrene packaging solutions, including boxes for the fishing and produce farming industries. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic Business Development Manager to lead their sales efforts in South Australia, identifying new business opportunities and building strong relationships with their client customer base.

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across commercial and residential building, fishing, and agricultural markets
- Establish and maintain relationships with builders, contractors, developers, wholesalers, fishers, and produce growers
- Promote and sell their range of insulation solutions and polystyrene packaging products
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitor activity
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and product demonstrations
- Attend industry trade shows, networking events, and customer meetings to enhance brand awareness
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer service and product delivery
- Negotiate contracts and close deals that align with company goals
- Track sales performance and provide regular reports to management
Requirements:
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management in the building materials, packaging, or related industries
- Strong network within the construction, fishing, and agricultural markets (highly desirable)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently
- Ability to analyze market trends and develop targeted sales strategies
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
