Companion Health is a registered NDIS provider based in Perth, committed to delivering high-quality, client-centred care for individuals with diverse needs throughout the Perth metropolitan area. As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead the growth of our services and ensure we continue to meet the evolving needs of the communities we serve.
In this crucial role, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving the development of our centre-based and specialist accommodation disability services. You will play a key part in shaping the strategic direction of our business, ensuring that our services meet the expectations of participants, comply with NDIS standards, and align with our operational objectives.
As the Business Development Manager, you will:
Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and community organizations, to enhance service delivery and identify new opportunities for growth.
Drive operational efficiency across our services while maintaining high standards of care, ensuring that all regulatory and compliance requirements are met.
Lead and motivate a team of dedicated professionals, creating a positive, inclusive, and collaborative workplace culture.
Work closely with the service team to develop and implement tailored care solutions for participants with complex medical needs and behaviours, either in their homes or shared accommodation settings.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our services, ensuring that participant needs are met with compassion, respect, and professionalism.

On a daily basis, you will:
Develop and implement policies and procedures that meet NDIS standards.
Ensure high-quality client care through the management of support worker schedules, client appointments, and performance reviews.
Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, conducting audits and corrective actions as necessary.
Work collaboratively with clients, families, and stakeholders to ensure tailored service delivery.
Lead and develop high-performing teams, overseeing recruitment, onboarding, training, and professional development.
Foster a positive, collaborative culture across all service delivery teams, ensuring high worker engagement and retention.
Provide coaching and performance feedback to team members to drive individual and team success.
Manage budgets, financial performance, and resource allocation to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of services.
Monitor operational issues, resolve conflicts, and coordinate team activities to meet service goals.
Develop strategic plans to improve service quality and operational efficiency.
Implement and monitor quality assurance programs, identify areas for improvement, and initiate corrective actions.
Guide and support internal and external audits to ensure compliance with relevant frameworks.
Stay up to date with the latest developments in NDIS and disability care services.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
• NDIS worker screening clearance
• NDIS worker orientation certificate
• Current drivers license, reliable vehicle with comprehensive car insurance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A can-do attitude
What we are looking for:
A bachelor’s degree in business, Human Services, or a related field.
Proven experience in senior management roles within the disability sectors, with a strong understanding of NDIS regulations and funding models.
Expertise in budget management, team leadership, and operational oversight.
A commitment to quality service delivery and compliance excellence.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build relationships with clients, families, and stakeholders.
High-level organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
