This global multidisciplinary design firm is looking for an experienced bid manager to join their team in Sydney. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the full cycle of tender submissions, managing a dynamic team of pursuit specialists across multiple locations. The role focuses on leading the preparation of high-quality bids, tenders, and proposals to support the growth and success of this practice. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the process of responding to new tender documentation, ensuring full comprehension of submission requirements
• Oversee the coordination of internal strategy meetings and follow-ups
• Contribute to proposal strategies, including content creation and editing, while ensuring all team members meet deadlines and deliver high-quality submissions
• Review and refine responses for appearance, editorial accuracy, and relevance
• Manage and support the pursuits team, including overseeing their workload, providing guidance, and ensuring the effective coordination of resources across teams nationally
• Monitor tender portals for new opportunities, assist in client and sector research, and collaborate with leadership to develop market strategies
• Ensure all submissions maintain a high standard of content, design, and presentation
• Work closely with leadership, marketing, and business development teams to align strategies and improve submission processes

Skills and Experience:

• Working at a level equivalent to 5+ years of relevant experience in bid or submissions management, ideally within the architecture, engineering or construction industry
• Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously and the ability to work independently.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud
• Strong leadership abilities with experience managing or mentoring team members to meet deadlines and deliver quality outputs
• Experience in sales, developing win strategies, and understanding the dynamics of proposal development and client engagement
