What You'll Be Doing
- Hands-on Leadership: Oversee daily operations across all food areas while working directly in the main kitchen.
- Menu Development: Maintain and enhance our seasonal Mediterranean-Croatian menus with fresh, exciting ideas.
- Cost Control & Budgeting: Ensure efficiency by managing ordering, supplier relationships, and food costs.
- Events & Functions: Collaborate with the CEO and Events Team to deliver top-tier catering for up to 350+ guests.
- Roster & Team Management: Lead and inspire a team of chefs to maintain consistency and quality.
What We’re Looking For
- A passionate and experienced Head Chef with a background in Mediterranean cuisine.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills to manage a high-volume kitchen producing 2,000 meals per week.
- A creative mind who can bring new ideas, seasonal flavours, and innovative dishes to the table.
- A hands-on professional who thrives in both the kitchen and the operational side of hospitality.
- Experience with costing, supplier negotiations, and menu development to keep quality high and costs in check.
