About the Role:
We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Trades Assistant with mechanical aptitude to join our team in Hallam, Melbourne. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in the trades industry, with the potential to secure a permanent role after the temporary period.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks and projects on-site
• Maintain and organise tools, machinery, and equipment
• Assist with installation, maintenance, and repairs of machinery and equipment
• Perform basic labouring duties as required
• Ensure the worksite is safe, clean, and compliant with safety standards
• Help with loading and unloading materials
• Carry out basic repairs and maintenance under supervision

About You:

• Basic understanding of tools, machinery, and equipment used in manufacturing
• Ability to assist with installation, maintenance, and repairs
• Previous experience in a trade or similar role is an advantage, but not essential
• Strong work ethic with a “can-do” attitude
• Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment
• Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks
• Knowledge of basic tools and machinery is desirable
• Current driver’s license and reliable transport (preferred)
