About the role
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Trades Assistant Labourer to join our clients team on a temp to perm basis. Our client is a manufacturer of hydraulic breakers and demolition attachments and due to an increase in workload, are currently seeking a Trades Assistant Labourer to assist their team in Smithfield.

What you'll be doing

Assisting in the repairs of rock hammers / excavator parts and different tools

Performing general labouring duties such as cleaning, tidying and organising work areas

Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment

Following all relevant safety protocols and procedures

Moving machinery and tools using cranes and forklift

What we're looking for

Demonstrated experience as a labourer or trades assistant in a similar role

Mechanically minded and likes fixing projects

Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety

Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently

Willingness to learn and take direction

Forklift licence is preferred
