De Kleine Contracting is a Hobart-based company specialising in civil works and infrastructure projects. Our company’s expertise has developed from over 20 years of experience in the civil construction industry in Tasmania. We have established working relationships with government bodies, councils, and private developers.

We currently have vacancies for the following positions:

1. Truck Driver – HR licence essential (m/f)
2. Multi-skilled Civil Construction Labourer (m/f)

About you

You will possess the following:

• Relevant Trade Qualification (not essential but preferred)
• Prior experience in subdivision, road and stormwater projects highly regarded.
• Hold a valid driver’s license.
• Hold an industry white card.
• Hold current traffic control ticket (not essential but preferred).
• Strong safety focus.
• Strong team player with proven ability to work efficiently with others.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

For the Truck Driver position, your role and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Minimum 3 years proven experience.
• HR licence.
• Day to day maintenance.
• Be able to work both as a team player and individually.
• Good communication skills.

Note: A new work vehicle provided for the right candidate.

For the Multi-skilled labourer position, your role and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• General civil construction skill set
• Sewer, stormwater and watermain works.
• Willingness to learn new skills

Other labouring work required to complete daily works and contracts.

Note: We work 4 days of ten hours a week. With Friday off (or overtime rates on Friday if worked).
