We’re on the lookout for a dedicated Construction Worker to assist with both the maintenance and construction of our road network, ensuring that we provide our community with improved service and safer roads. If you have experience in construction works, roadworks maintenance, or drainage works and have an MR or HR licence, we’d love to hear from you!
This provides a unique opportunity for the right candidate to receive training, coaching, and mentoring in all the skills involved within the maintenance and construction of our civil infrastructure.
What you’ll be doing
Annual maintenance and construction programs of the City’s road network
Providing safer roads for our community through the construction and maintenance of road and drainage improvements
Daily planning and safety discussions
Operate power tools, plant, and equipment with confidence
Operate Medium Rigid vehicles, including cleaning and basic maintenance
MR license required as a minimum (HR Licence desirable and training can be provided if required)
White card and satisfactory National Police Certificate required (within 6 months validity)

$37.90 per hour super + penalties for overtime and special projects night work
