ABOUT BETHANY CHRISTIAN CARE
Bethany Christian Care is a not-for-profit aged care provider established in 1949. We have two facilities: The Plains Retirement Village at Eight Mile Plains and Janoah Gardens Retirement Village at Manly West.
OUR PURPOSE
To enable older people to experience abundant lives through authentic Christian care, support and communities.
ROSTERS:
- Work collaboratively with Managers/ Department Heads to ensure the right skills and experience mix on each roster.
- Create rosters in Inerva (Bethany Christian Care’s enterprise system), ensuring all shifts are allocated by offering shifts to employees directly or through the Inerva staff portal in order to meet the regulated care minute targets.
- Responsible for filling shifts as they become available (staff calling in sick/ leaving early).
- Liaise with nursing agencies to ensure that suitably trained staff are available to fill shifts.
- Checking leave applications through Inerva and getting manager's approvals.
- Regularly reporting to and collaborating with the HR Officers and People Manager to ensure staffing levels are adequate.
PAYROLL:
- Checking staff work times against time sheets.
- Respond to staff wage and salary queries.
- Working closely with the Finance Officer to ensure smooth pay runs.
- Generating payroll reports to People Manager and other relevant Heads of Department.
- Assist Finance Manager in reporting care minutes to the Department of Health and Aged Care.

- Recruitment, Onboarding, Retention and Separation.
