Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Relevant tertiary qualification/s (essential)
- Course and business development expertise
- Experience coordinating vocational education programs (essential)
- Cert IV TAE (desirable)

As part of Prace's recruitment and selection process, applicants will be required to undergo a pre-employment safety screening process. Successful appointment to a position will be subject to, but not limited to, the following checks: National Police Check, Victorian Employee Working with Children Check, current and valid Driver’s Licence. All costs associated with safety screening will be at the applicant’s expense.
Key Selection Criteria
- Tertiary qualification in education, training, business development, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in coordinating and delivering training programs, preferably in a community setting.
- Proven ability to identify, develop, and implement new training programs in response to industry demand.
- Experience in building partnerships with external organisations, including schools, businesses, and referral agencies, to expand course offerings.
- Ability to contribute to funding applications, business proposals, and strategic growth initiatives.
- Strong understanding of the VET sector, compliance requirements, and funding frameworks.
- Proficiency in Google Apps, Microsoft Office, and video conferencing software.
- Ability to manage and oversee student administration processes, including compliance with enrolment, assessment, and reporting requirements.
- Set priorities and manage multiple projects within deadlines.
- Plan and organise course rollout, budgets, and compliance requirements.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and strategic initiatives.
- Supervise and support teaching staff effectively.
- Strong coordination skills, including the ability to:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for engaging with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Ability to negotiate, collaborate, and build effective partnerships.
- Commitment to social justice principles and inclusive education.
