Alba Cheese is a producer of award winning cheese, and has been operating for 40 years, based in Tullamarine.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated, hard working individual to join our fast growing, experienced team managing our shredding facility.

The successful applicants must have experience in running a team and following company procedures.

Your roles would include, .

• Driving production activities to achieve and exceed our operational and quality targets
• Managing day to day operations of our shredding facility
• Creating improved and innovative ways of achieving production targets
• Coaching, training and development of the manufacturing team
• Managing cost control through effective utilisation of staff, equipment, facilities, material and capital
• Developing, managing and reporting on production
• upholding QA standards

About you.

• Experience in managing a manufacturing facility with a proven track record of achieving positive operational outcomes
• Passionate about driving continuous improvement initiatives, to improve safety, efficiencies and reliability
• Inclusive in management style, with the capabilities to engage a large team and create a collaborative working environment
• Strong communication and problem solving skills with the ability to communicate cross functionally to build strong relationships and influence key stakeholders
• Excellent analytical skills with the strong capabilities of working with multiple pieces of data and transforming them into meaningful relevant information for employees to understand
• Proven track record of achieving departmental business plans and productivity agendas
• Punctual, alert and well groomed.
