Multiple Positions Business Analyst – Future Energy Digital Transformation Program

• $900 - $1000 per day (inclusive / super)
• 6 months + extensions
• Melbourne / Sydney or Brisbane Locations + WFH (hybrid)

Purpose of the Role
The Future Energy Technology Business Analyst will work in cross-functional teams to define processes and functions of Future Energy products and services. The role will be responsible for articulating interaction points between technologies, people and processes, analysing complex processes and championing innovation.

They will be passionate about customer centricity, maintain a relentless focus on clarity of function and business requirements into customer, and ultimately technology requirements.

Key Accountabilities
The Technology Business Analyst will be accountable for:

1. Leading process development with conviction
2. Maintaining Future Energy Technology process and roadmap as they are iterated by cross-functional teams
3. Collaborating across product owners and subject matter experts (eg Metering) to achieve business unit success
4. Outlining and mapping Future Energy Technology requirements and collating those requirements into presentable and actionable insights
5. Breaking analyses down by MVP, mid-term and long-term solution designs
6. Participating in, and where required, leading co-creation activities with key business partners outside Ampol
7. Facilitating, leading and actively contributing to showcases, product demos, stand ups, retros and product workshops with the team and stakeholders as required

Essential experience

• 3 -5 years' experience as a business analyst
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Technical project experience (Digital or engineering)
• Experience working in product-led teams with Product Owners, SMEs and marketers and development teams
• Experience working with agile methodologies and has the proven ability to deliver in a fast-paced growth environment
• Demonstrated experience with process design, technology road-mapping, customer-centric product development
• Strong capability using digital tools including the Atlassian suite and Mural
