Instant Shade Umbrellas is a leading wholesaler and distributor of Australia’s Best Umbrellas. Our product range includes small branded market umbrellas, large heavy-duty commercial umbrellas, promotional pop-up marquees, and permanent shade structures. Our commercial customers include hospitality venues, hotels & resorts, big brands, brand management companies and major events like the AO Tennis and Spring Racing Carnival. About The Role
We’re on the lookout for a motivated and experienced Sales Representative who knows how to win business. We need someone with the drive, connections, and confidence to entice new clients, whether they are big or small.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for driving sales growth, managing existing customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities. You’ll work closely with our sales team and other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Meeting (and exceeding) monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Actively seeking out new clients and opportunities
- Understanding client needs and providing tailored product solutions
- Maintain existing customer relationships and nurture new opportunities
- Prepare and present sales proposals and quotations
- Processing sales from quoting to deposits to production to delivery of goods
- Attend industry events and trade shows to promote our products
Who We Are Looking For
- You’re self-motivated, goal-oriented, and ready to be a key part of our growth strategy.
- You’re a natural at building rapport. You communicate confidently, whether on the phone, in person, or presenting to a large group.
- You’re comfortable with your sales performance being measured and tracked, and thrive on the challenge of an ambitious goal or target.
- You’re a strong negotiator and can convince customers to consider all relevant factors, not just price.
- You’ve got excellent organizational and time management skills, and you know how to prioritise.
- You have a proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- You have experience with CRM systems (e.g., Zoho CRM) and other sales tools, and a willingness to use and master new systems.
- Experience in the outdoor shade or signage/promotions industry will be highly regarded but is not essential
