This is a high-impact Management Accountant role in a fast-paced, people-first business that operates in the maritime and logistics industry.

You'll work closely with the Group Financial Controller to own the budgeting and forecasting process across four states, support key decision-making with operations leaders, and help drive meaningful financial insights.

Here's what you'll be doing:

• Building forecasts and budgets from the ground up, liaising directly with operations to bring together meaningful numbers that impact the business
• Conducting cost and margin analysis with a commercial mindset - particularly focused on crew costs.
• Performing regular rolling forecasts and variance analysis across multiple business units.
• Challenging the status quo - sense checking inputs and asking the right questions when things don’t add up.
• Supporting ad hoc business analysis and scenario modelling to help senior leaders make confident decisions.
• Playing a key role in preparing for a major systems upgrade (ERP migration to Dynamics 365).

What you bring to the table:

• CA, CPA or equivalent qualified. Those studying towards or qualified by experience will still be considered
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, modelling).
• Proven experience in management accounting, financial analysis, or commercial finance.
• Attention to detail and the ability to spot when numbers just don’t look right.
• Great communication skills and confidence working with stakeholders outside of finance.
• Bonus points for experience with ERP systems and any exposure to implementation projects.
