About the role

Hines Refrigerated Transport is seeking an experienced Allocator to join our team in Kundabung, NSW. This full-time role is responsible for efficiently managing and coordinating the deployment of our fleet of refrigerated vehicles to meet customer demands.

What you'll be doing

• Allocate and schedule refrigerated vehicles and drivers to fulfil customer orders and transport requirements
• Monitor vehicle locations and progress to ensure timely and effective delivery of goods
• Communicate with drivers, clients and other stakeholders to provide updates and resolve any issues
• Maintain detailed records of vehicle usage, driver hours and other operational data
• Support the optimisation of fleet utilisation and identify opportunities for improvement
• Contribute to the continuous development of processes and systems to enhance fleet management

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in a fleet management or logistics coordination role, ideally within the transport or distribution industry
• Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills with the ability to effectively prioritise and respond to changing demands
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with drivers, customers and other stakeholders
• Proficient in the use of fleet management software and other relevant computer applications
• Thorough understanding of transport regulations, driver hours and vehicle maintenance requirements
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and make timely decisions
