Job Title: Quality Engineer (Tester) - Junior to Senior Level
Location: Ballarat, Victoria
Contract: Initial 12-month contract
Citizenship: Must be an Australian Citizen

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer (Tester) to join our client's team in Ballarat. This role is open to candidates from junior to senior levels of experience. As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through rigorous testing and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Perform manual and automated testing to identify defects and ensure product quality.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on testability.
• Document and track defects, and work with developers to resolve issues.
• Participate in code reviews and provide input on quality standards.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in software testing, quality assurance, or a related role.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies and tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Australian Citizenship is mandatory.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Experience in performance and security testing.
