About the role

Labelmakers Group Flexible and Linerless Division is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Office professional for an interim contract role based in Mulgrave, NSW. Ideally Commencing in June to October to provide coverage for our QA officer whilst they are on leave, there may be an option for a permanent opportunity. Ideally 6:00am to 2:00pm daily.

This position plays a vital role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our Label manufacturing operations. As a contract role, this is an excellent opportunity for a skilled QA specialist to contribute their expertise to a reputable organisation in the Print and Packaging industry.

What you'll be doing

Overseaa QA processes throughout the printing, conversion and Finishing stages

Sign-off jobs before full production run to ensure alignment with customer specifications

Developing, implementing and monitoring quality assurance processes and procedures across the organisation

Conducting regular audits and inspections to identify and address non-conformances and implement corrective and preventative actions (CAPA)

Collaborating with production, logistics and engineering teams to resolve quality issues

Analysing quality data and providing recommendations for continuous improvement

Ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations and internal policies

Providing training and support to staff on quality management best practices

Maintaining detailed records and documentation related to quality assurance activities

What we're looking for

Ideally a degree or diploma in science or Engineering would be desirable

Real time experience in quality control manufacturing environment - print would be advantageous

Strong knowledge of quality management principles, methodologies and tools

Proficient in the use of quality control software and data analysis techniques

Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and communication skills

The ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve quality objectives

Relevant qualifications in quality assurance, engineering or a related field would be highly regarded
