We are on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced Insurance Broker / Senior Account Manager, you will be working closely with senior brokers and claims personnel within a dynamic team. You will manage key client relationships and ensure their needs are met through strategic account management and the delivery of tailored insurance solutions.

Main responsibilities include:

• Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with key clients, underwriters, and stakeholders
• Proactively managing client needs, ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service
• Overseeing large and complex claims matters, supporting claims negotiations for equitable settlements
• Implementing effective retention strategies to safeguard and grow client accounts
• Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
• Managing business plans, budgets, and performance goals to drive success
• Managing operational changes to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction

The ideal candidate:

• Sales driven with understanding of targeted and strategic selling processes
• Client servicing including front line client management
• Developed business acumen and business development skills
• Extensive knowledge of technical competencies and insurance products
• Developed interpersonal skills and ability to build and manage relationships
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills
• Dip of Fin Services or other relevant tertiary qualifications advantageous
• Tier 1 Insurance broking qualifications (AU)
• Previous experience working within Insurance or Financial Services advantageous
