Mortgage Broker / Asset Broker
Job Summary:
Join our client as a Mortgage Broker / Asset Broker, where you will play a vital role in guiding clients through the process of securing mortgage and asset finance. This position requires a strong foundation in the lending landscape, along with excellent communication skills in Punjabi or Hindi, enabling you to build meaningful relationships with clients. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a strong portfolio of mortgage and asset finance clients.
• Manage and convert inbound leads from various social media platforms, handling approximately 40 calls per day.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities through client referrals and networking.
• Achieve settlement targets of $4M in residential loans and $1.7M in asset finance.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing expert advice with tailored finance solutions.
• Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and proactively address client needs.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to promote repeat business and referrals.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimise service offerings for clients.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant lending regulations and industry standards.
• Maintain accurate client records and loan application documentation.
• Stay up to date with regulatory changes and lender product updates.
• Work within compliance frameworks to ensure ethical and professional conduct.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in mortgage and/or asset finance.
• Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking (or equivalent) preferred.
• Fluent in Punjabi or Hindi is a must.
• Strong knowledge of mortgage and asset finance products and Australian lending regulations.
• Experience using aggregator platforms; Connective experience is advantageous but not required.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a hybrid work environment.
• Proficiency in technology and systems used in the mortgage broking industry, including lending platforms, CRM systems, and digital lead management tools.
• Understanding of loan application processes and settlement procedures.
