About the role

As a part-time Community Pharmacist at Capital Chemist Isabella Plains, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality healthcare services to the local community. Working 2 days per week, you will be responsible for dispensing medications, offering expert advice, assisting with DAA checking, and providing clincal services such as vaccination, OTP, holter montior application and UTI consults to our local community.

What you'll be doing

• Dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently
• Providing personalised patient consultations and medication counselling
• Providing vaccination and other clinical services
• Assisting with accurate Dose Administration Aid checking
• Maintaining detailed patient records and ensuring regulatory compliance
• Assisting with the management of the pharmacy's inventory and supplies
• Actively participating in the development and implementation of new pharmacy services

What we're looking for

• A current registration as a Pharmacist in Australia
• Minimum 2 years experience working as a Community Pharmacist
• Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in medication management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and healthcare providers
• Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
• Availability to work 2 full days per week either from 8.30am OR to 7pm.
