Seeking a dedicated Health & Safety Advisor to ensure a safe and risk-free environment within our utilities clients health & safety environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining health and safety standards, policies, and procedures across the entire workforce. This position will be a permanent, full-time role.

This position is with a large organisation in the industrial and manufacturing industry, based in Frankston. They have a wide network of operations across the south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne and are known for their commitment to safety and their employee-centric approach. This role will offer 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.

Description

• Develop and implement safety protocols in line with regulatory guidelines.
• Conduct risk assessments and safety audits regularly.
• Provide safety training and awareness sessions for the staff.
• Investigate and report any health and safety incidents.
• Participate in safety committee meetings and initiatives.
• Monitor compliance with safety procedures and policies.
• Provide advice and guidance on health and safety matters.
• Work closely with the Human Resources department to ensure a safe work culture.

Profile

A successful Health & Safety Advisor will be able to demonstrate:

• Experience in a similar role within a health and safety role.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and standards.
• Exceptional communication skills to relay safety procedures and standards.
• Experience in conducting risk assessments and safety audits.
• Capability to deliver safety training and awareness programs.
• Ability to handle emergency situations efficiently and calmly.

Job Offer

• Salary range of $110K - $115K plus superannuation.
• 3 days in home and 2 in the office.
• Permanent, full-time role.
• Frankston location.
