About the Company
This well-established civil contracting company delivers large-scale projects across the infrastructure, mining, and industrial sectors for both private and government clients. With a strong and growing pipeline of work, they are seeking a dedicated Environmental Coordinator to enhance and support their environmental compliance and standards across multiple sites.
About the role
This role will involve delivering day to day site-based Environmental responsibilities, by building strong relationships and trust throughout the site teams. The company are continually working to ensure environmental impacts are at the forefront of their decisions, and as such this role is paramount to ensuring this is upheld, to help work towards their values and goals.
Duties
- Delivering Environmental and Sustainability initiatives on site, ensuring compliance and keeping updated with key changes to legislation.
- Visiting sites and engaging with everyone from site teams to managers, ensuring responsibilities are clear and answering technical Environmental and Sustainability related enquires.
- Conducting audits, inspections, and accident investigations. Constantly seeking areas for improvement and development in Environmental performance.
- Engaging with internal and external stakeholders, acting as a key point of contact.
Skills & Experience
- Experience in a similar role ideally within civil engineering, infrastructure, or related industries.
- Experience implementing environmental and sustainability policies, in line with relevant legislative requirements.
- Degree or equivalent in Environmental Management / Science / Engineering, or related study
- Experience establishing and maintain good working relationships.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Visio.
