We are searching for a special person to step into the care manager role in our innovative, supportive and growing not-for-profit residential aged care provider in Roseville. You will provide leadership and guidance to a wonderful team of carers and registered nurses. In this role, you’ll be supported on-site by a diverse team of professionals, to provide the highest level of care to our residents. Reporting to the Director of Nursing and Clinical Care you will be 1 of 2 Care Managers responsible for the clinical care and wellbeing of 102 residents. You will be supported by a Clinical Governance and Compliance Manager, Clinical Nurse Educator, Rostering Coordinator, People & Culture Manager, and a team of dedicated RNs, Physios, Lifestyle and Care Workers.

About you:

• Experienced Care Manager
• Sound clinical knowledge and contemporary practice
• Current AHPRA registration
• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to coach staff in a way that gets the best out of them
• Strong people skills – able to build relationships and trust with residents and their loved ones and decision makers
• Excellent communication skills
• Calm under pressure and able to have ‘hard conversations’ when necessary
• Ability to think outside the box, innovate and problem solve
• Strong knowledge of, and experience with SIRS, Aged Care Standards and Code of Conduct, Compliance, AN-ACC, accreditation processes
• NDIS check
