About the Role

As the Care Manager you’ll work alongside the Facility Manager to oversee the clinical operations of the home. You’ll lead, support and mentor a team of Clinical Coordinators, Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Care Support staff to ensure high standards of person-centered care are delivered consistently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the clinical and care team across a large residential aged care facility
• Support clinical assessments, care planning and ensure compliance with aged care standards
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and education to clinical staff
• Manage clinical risk, incident reporting, infection control and WHS procedures
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain best-practice clinical governance
• Collaborate with residents, families, allied health and key stakeholders

What You’ll Bring:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum of 5 years' experience as an RN in aged care
• Minimum of 3 years in a Manager role, ideally in a large home
• Solid understanding of aged care legislation, clinical compliance and accreditation standards
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and documentation skills
• Passion for delivering high-quality, person-centered care

Desirable:

• Postgraduate qualifications in Aged Care or Management
• Recent management experience working in a large aged care residential facility
