Our ideal candidate will have:

• Cert 3 or 4 in Disability Services, Individual Support, Home, and Community Care
• Previous employment experience in the health/disability, and community services sector.
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to delivering individualized care.
• Flexible availability & a long-term commitment to InCare Health Services
• Bilingual or Multilingual, Mandarin - Cantonese – Arabic – Vietnamese - Italian, or has experience working with CALD (culturally and linguistically diverse) families.

The role may involve:

• Assistance with community access and recreational activities
• Personal care (showering, toileting, and hygiene assistance)
• Manual handling and the use of wheelchairs & hoists
• Administering Medication
• Light duties such as meal preparation and cleaning
• Behavioural and Mental Health Support
• Respite Care
• Wound Care experience (EN or RN Nurses)
• Active Nights / Sleep Overs
• High-Level / High Intensity daily and personal needs
• Flexible working hours (including AM, PM and Weekends, including Public Holidays)
• Available daily shifts: 8-hour or 12-hour options

• Essential criteria:
• The legal right to work in Australia.
• A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle
• National Police Check
• Working with children check
• Certificate in First aid & CPR (current)
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Two professional references
• ABN Holders Only.
