Our ideal candidate will have:

Cert 3 or 4 in Disability Services, Individual Support, Home, and Community Care

Previous employment experience in the health/disability, and community services sector.

Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to delivering individualized care.

Flexible availability & a long-term commitment to InCare Health Services

The role may involve:

Assistance with community access and recreational activities

Personal care (showering, toileting, and hygiene assistance)

Manual handling and the use of wheelchairs & hoists

Administering Medication

Light duties such as meal preparation and cleaning

Behavioural and Mental Health Support

Sleep Overs

High-Level / High Intensity daily and personal needs

Flexible working hours (including AM, PM and Weekends, including Public Holidays)

Available daily shifts: 8-hour or 12-hour options

Essential criteria:

The legal right to work in Australia.

A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle

National Police Check

Working with children check

Certificate in First aid & CPR (current)

NDIS Worker Screening Check

Two professional references

You are a dedicated worker who enjoys working in the community to support people and meet their health goals and objectives. You have excellent communication skills, are caring, compassionate, and are a great team player. If you are an experienced carer, a nursing student, or a retired nurse we encourage you to apply.
