About the role
As the Functions Coordinator at Manly Harbour Boat Club, you will play a pivotal role in managing and delivering exceptional events and functions for our members and guests. This full-time position is based in beautiful Manly QLD, offering a flexible and collaborative work environment.

What you'll be doing

• Overseeing the planning, coordination and execution of functions and events at the club
• Acting as the first point of contact for all function enquiries
• Preparing detailed event proposals, function sheets and post-event reports
• Assisting with the marketing and promotion of the club's functions and events
• Direct the function team to plan and execute events per client and business’s needs
• Assist and manage with set-up, running and the pack down of events
  

What we're looking for

• Significant experience in a similar functions or events coordination role, ideally within the hospitality or tourism industry
• Knowledge in how to use event software - Ivvy is desirable
• Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
• Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
• A keen eye for detail and the ability to problem-solve creatively
• Available to work weekends, public holidays, and some late evenings
• Experience in high volume and fast paced outlets
