About the role

We are seeking a friendly and professional Receptionist to join our dynamic team at The Basketball Lab in West End, Queensland. As a casual Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing excellent customer service and administrative support to ensure the smooth running of our basketball training facility. Only between 5pm - 9pm weekdays.

What you'll be doing

• Warmly greeting and welcoming clients, players, and visitors to our facility
• Answering and making phone calls in a professional manner
• Providing general administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing bookings, and maintaining accurate records
• Assisting with the coordination of basketball training sessions and events
• Maintaining a clean and organised reception area
• Providing excellent customer service and responding to client inquiries and requests

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role, ideally within the sports or fitness industry
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with a diverse range of clients
• Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
• A friendly, professional, and enthusiastic demeanour
• A keen interest in basketball and/or sports in general
• Must be available 5pm - 9pm weekdays
