We have an additional opportunity available for a capable and experienced road works plant operator to work with a road works team working from a depot at Narrandera.

Plant being operated will vary and includes loader; rollers - multi-tyre, padfoot, smooth drum; mixer; grader; plus trucks from time to time. You must also be willing to undertake manual labouring duties as required to assist the team in completing required work tasks.

You will be working full time hours of work (8.5 hours/day - 76 hours over a 9 day fortnight) for approximately 3 months initially until end of June with potential of further work being available for good quality workers. An attractive hourly pay rate is being offered, including overtime penalty rates and allowances for additional hours of work.

This role may require some travel away from time to time, working in locations around the SW region of NSW. Appropriate allowances will be paid for camp work.

An immediate start of work is available.

Successful Applicants will need;

• Plant Operating - proven experience with bonus points for grader experience
• current WHS White Card - essential
• Driver licence - HR truck licence or above preferred
• Traffic control ticket/s - or willingness to obtain within first few weeks of employment
• Worker On Foot card - or willingness to obtain (online link able to be provided for successful applicant)
• good all round fitness for manual work tasks
• previous experience with road construction or maintenance will be highly regarded
