APG is currently seeking an experienced Plant Operator for a 3-month contract within a Government Sector based out of Narrandera.

Job Title: Plant Operator
Location: Narrandera (Preferred candidates living close to Narrandera, but open to suitable candidates from other areas)
Start Date: ASAP (Minimum 3 months with potential for extension)
Pay Rate: $44.14 per hour + Superannuation
Hours: 8.5 hours per day, 76 hours per fortnight
Work Structure: 9-day fortnight

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a variety of earthmoving equipment such as loaders, rollers (multi, padfoot, smooth drum), mixers, graders, and trucks.
• Assist with road building and earthworks.
• Perform laboring tasks as part of a construction crew, including manual handling.
• Travel and work at overtime rates once ordinary hours are met.
• Receive allowances for living away from home with accommodation provided when camped away from the depot.

Requirements:

• White Card
• WOF
• C Drivers License or above
• TC (or willing to obtain)

• Experienced in operating a range of earthmoving plant.
• Ability to work as part of a construction crew.
• Willingness to camp away from home for 90% of the time.
