About the Role
Are you a skilled installer of garage doors and motors looking for a change of pace? Imagine applying your technical expertise in a supportive, team-focused office environment. As our Technical Product Support Specialist, you’ll use your on-the-job knowledge to guide customers and technicians, troubleshoot issues, and provide expert advice – all while working regular hours in a comfortable, air-conditioned office.

This is a customer facing role and requires a genuine and attentive drive. Remote Pro is looking for someone who is tech-savvy, excels in a fast paced environment, showcasing exceptional problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset. In this position, you'll interact directly with both end users and door technicians, providing both reactive and proactive product support. Your tasks include guiding customers through programming remotes, commissioning garage & gate operators, fault finding and installation advice across all major brands, as well as fostering their independence through effective user education.

What You’ll Do

  • Share Your Expertise: Help customers and technicians troubleshoot, install, and program automation systems like remotes and motors.
  • Solve Real Problems: Use your hands-on knowledge to fault-find and provide solutions for leading brands like ATA, B&D, BFT, Centsys, FAAC, Gliderol, Merlin, Nice and more.
  • Be a Mentor: Educate customers on product use, fostering their independence and confidence.
  • Enjoy Variety: Each day brings new challenges, from assisting technicians to guiding end users.
