The Appointment
Based in Murarrie, this global leader in security and access control solutions is looking for a Technical Sales & Support Specialist to deliver both pre-sales expertise and post-sales technical support across Australia. This is a hybrid role, perfect for someone who thrives on solving problems, building relationships, and getting hands-on with technology.

With interstate travel making up 50% of the role, you'll deliver impactful technical solutions while working closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders.

In this dual role, you’ll:

  • Provide technical expertise and sales support throughout the customer lifecycle: from initial consults and product demos to post-installation troubleshooting.
  • Delivering tailored technical solutions and support to both internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Deliver training and onboarding sessions for new customers and internal teams.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, offering custom solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware and software issues, ensuring top-tier customer satisfaction.

The Appointee
You’re a confident communicator with a solid technical background and a passion for helping people get the most out of technology. You’re comfortable out in the field and equally capable back at the office.

To be successful you will have:

  • 3+ years of experience in technical support, security or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and general IT/networking principles.
  • Proven troubleshooting abilities, with a knack for solving complex technical problems.
  • Hands-on experience with hardware installation (including units up to 30kg).
  • Experience delivering live demos and engaging presentations.
  • Experience with access control technology and/or integrated security solutions would be highly beneficial.
