Swissôtel Sydney, part of Accor’s Preimum brands, have a rewarding and rare opportunity for a Hotel Accountant to join our Finance team.

Supporting our Director of Finance and Finance Manager, you will play a key role in the smooth running of the daily operation of the Finance department.

The Role

• Oversee Income Audit, Accounts Receivable, Account Payable and General Cashiering
• Process end-to-end Payroll using Employment Hero
• Assist with month-end process, financial reporting and balance sheet reconciliation
• Collaborate with Department Heads to develop effective measures to enhance their department’s profitability
• Attend and actively participate in relevant meetings including Payroll Meeting, Credit Meeting etc.
• Full Time onsite, 5 days per week

About You

• Formal qualifications in Accounting or Finance
• Previous experience in hotel environment will be advantageous
• Experience with Opera Cloud and Sun System Cloud will be advantageous
• Proficient computer literacy (Excel, Word, Outlook etc.)
• Strong communication skills and keen eye for details
• Take initiative and lead the team to succeed
