About the role

We are seeking an experienced Casual Senior Waitstaff & Barista to join our vibrant team at clodeli cafe' in Randwick, NSW. This casual role is perfect for those who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for providing exceptional customer service. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for both waitstaff and barista duties.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting and serving customers in a friendly and efficient manner
• Taking customer orders and communicating these clearly to the kitchen team
• Preparing and serving a range of coffee and tea beverages to the highest standard
• Ensuring tables are promptly cleared and reset for the next customers
• Restocking and maintaining the cleanliness of the front-of-house area
• Providing recommendations on menu items and specials
• Following all health, safety and hygiene procedures

What we're looking for

• At least 2 years' experience in a similar waitstaff and barista role in a fast-paced hospitality environment
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to provide a warm, friendly and efficient dining experience
• Strong barista skills and experience in preparing high-quality coffee and tea beverages
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A flexible and adaptable approach to working in a fast-paced environment
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
• Food safety and hygiene certification (or willingness to obtain)
