About the role

As a Chef de Partie at the Gladesville Sports Club, you will play a pivotal role in the kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation. This full-time position is located in Gladesville, NSW 2111, and offers an exciting opportunity to hone your culinary skills within a well-established and respected establishment. You will be joining as the 6th member of a team of qualified chefs to assist with growing demand in our busy club.

What you'll be doing

• Prepare, cook and plate a variety of dishes to the highest standards, in line with the club's menus and recipes
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment in your station
• Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in menu development and kitchen operations
• Mentor and train junior kitchen staff to uphold the club's high standards
• Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly adhered to
• Collaborate with the front-of-house team to provide an exceptional dining experience for all guests

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2-3 years' experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a high-quality restaurant or club kitchen
• Strong technical cooking skills and a passion for creating delicious, visually appealing dishes
• Excellent time management and multitasking abilities to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest food safety and hygiene standards
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• A positive, enthusiastic attitude and a genuine desire to deliver an exceptional dining experience
