We are currently seeking a dedicated cook or kitchen hand to join our team at Indooroopilly shopping centre, working alongside our head chef. This role offers a consistent Wednesday-Sunday schedule.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 Years of Experience: We're looking for candidates with at least 2 years of experience as a cook or kitchen hand in Australia, preferably in a fast-paced cafe environment.

Proactive Attitude: We value proactive individuals with a "can-do" attitude, a genuine care factor for their work, and a mindset of "whatever it takes" to deliver exceptional results.

Ability to Thrive in a Fast-Paced Environment: Fast-paced environments are where we thrive, so it's essential that you can keep up with the rhythm and intensity of our kitchen operations.

Responsibilities:

Leadership Skills: Demonstrate some level of leadership by understanding all ordering procedures and online ordering portals, ensuring smooth inventory management.

Maintain Kitchen Efficiency: Take pride in maintaining an efficiently set up and clean kitchen, contributing to the seamless flow of culinary operations.

Exceptional Culinary Skills: Professionally create and plate every meal to perfection, maximising positive customer feedback and satisfaction.

Support Head Chef: Collaborate closely with our Head Chef, stepping up to take charge in his absence and ensuring that kitchen operations run smoothly at all times.
