We offer a Full-time position of Procurement Officer with annual earnings from the range of $85,000 to $90,000.

Due to strategic objective of ensuring the quality of all products purchase, cost control, taking inventory records and other key things, we are attempting to recruitment the experienced and skilful Procurement Specialist to join our vibrant and collegial team.

The successful candidate will need to satisfy the following criteria:

• Bachelor of Education in Business background or relevant is preferred.
• Experience in a similar position of Procurement planning and Master data management activity.
• Highly advanced and analytical and numerical skills.
• Experience in using warehouse inventory management software proficiently, including but not limited to inflow Inventory, Inventory Planner, and Fishbowl.
• Inquisitive and systematic approach to identifying and solving problems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, be able to control and manage workflow in an efficient manner.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel (MS Office Spreadsheet) for data analysis, reporting, and inventory management.
• Hands-on experience with SPS Commerce for supply chain and procurement management.
• Strong command of Shopify backend operations, including product management and order processing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin is highly preferred, as the role involves working with suppliers across China, Thailand, and New Zealand.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a cross functional team.

Key Responsibilities of the role include but not limited to the following aspects:

• Obtaining quotations (Request for Proposal, Request for Offer and former tender) from suppliers
• Managing the pricing system and procurement metrics, including category analysis, purchase price variance (PPV) control, reporting, budgeting, and tracking.
• Liaising with and internal stakeholders to identify and resolve product sourcing and purchasing issues,
• Responsible for assisting the Procurement Manager in identifying and evaluating alternate materials or suppliers that may provide quality and cost improvements.
• Providing analytical and operational support for strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management (SRM), contract compliance, and PPV reporting.
• When required, conduct contract negotiation, implementation, management and development in conjunction with NPD key team members and/or Procurement Manager.
• Collaborating and communicating regularly with stakeholders to ensure alignment of NPD and Sustainability objectives to build a comprehensible understanding of requirements for third party goods and services.
• Organizing and maintaining procurement lists to assist in purchasing raw materials.
