The Position

Reporting to the General Manager, we are seeking a proactive Procurement Officer to join the team at our Reservoir head office.

Ideally, this will be a full-time role, but we would consider a part time role with a minimum of 30 hours per week, for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities in this position include:

• Liaising and purchasing with existing suppliers whilst actively seeking out new products and supply channels.
• Creating products using Excel templates and direct data entry into our ERP platform.
• Setting and reviewing pricing.
• Attending local and international trade shows.
• Identify and monitor industry/market trends for board games, miniatures, RPGs, TCGs, puzzles, novelties and toys.
• Dealing with freight forwarders to manage the import of products.
• Preparing written proposals for new exclusive titles.
• Regular analysis of sales data to determine products to reorder or discontinue and apply discounts.

Key Criteria

• Essential: At least two (2) years' experience in a similar role.
• Demonstrated proficiency in data processing.
• Demonstrated proficiency with the Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook applications).
• Possesses a high level of communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated decision making and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Forklift licence preferred but not essential.
• Driver's licence essential.
• Permanent residency/right to work in Australia essential
