About the role

The initial job is primarily installing solar panels, generally in a crew of 4. The job will progress from Trades Assistant to Apprenticeship to Electrician. As an Electrical apprentice, you will also be installing Home Battery Storage (Tesla Powerwall, BYD batteries), and EV Chargers. We usually employ mature-age apprentices but juniors are also welcome to apply. A background in carpentry, roofing or another trade is a huge advantage. Skills and experience

• Must be good with a pool cue - but not too good ;)
• Should be fit and Strong - the ability to lift 24kg solar panels to a roof.
• Must have a driver's license and own vehicle.
• Cert ii in Electrotechnology is an advantage if you want to go down the apprenticeship path.
• The role will start out at a casual rate. The hourly rate is dependent on solar experience.
