About the role

We are seeking a qualified Electrician to join our team at South QLD Refrigeration Pty Ltd in Brisbane, Queensland. This is a full-time position and will involve hands-on electrical work as well as the opportunity to complete a Refrigeration Apprenticeship. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of high-quality refrigeration services to our valued customers. You will be paired with one of our qualified refrigeration mechanics currently completing his electrical apprenticeship and environment where you can both learn from each other. All work is in the construction industry so experience in construction is a must.

What you'll be doing

Undertaking a range of electrical installation, maintenance, and repair tasks related to refrigeration systems

Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical faults in refrigeration equipment

Interpreting electrical diagrams and schematics to identify and resolve issues

Completing a Refrigeration Apprenticeship to broaden your skillset and qualifications

Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards

Providing excellent installation quality and liaising with builders throughout project delivery

What we're looking for

Qualified Electrician with a minimum of 2 years' post-apprenticeship experience

Strong working knowledge of electrical systems and refrigeration technology

Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, schematics and technical manuals

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve electrical issues

Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to all safety protocols

Strong customer service orientation and the ability to effectively communicate with clients

A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the desire to continuously learn and develop your skills
