THE COMPANY

Our client is a reputable commercial electrical contracting company, providing services since 2001. They specialise in domestic and commercial installations, repairs, maintenance, data, compliance testing and tagging, RCDs and emergency lighting for a diverse range of clients.

THE OPPORTUNITY

They are currently hiring an Electrical Trades Assistant to support electricians who will be involved in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of domestic and commercial electrical services to their valued clients. As an Electrical Trades Assistant, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of their business, contributing to the overall success of the company.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assisting electricians with the electrical domestic and commercial maintenance jobs for private, commercial and government clients

Assisting with installation of domestic fans throughout Gold Coast, Logan City and Brisbane

Performing general labouring duties such as material handling, tool preparation and site clean-up

Ensuring work areas are safe and compliant with all relevant health and safety regulations

Maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service when interacting with clients

Contributing to the team's productivity and efficiency through reliable and diligent work practices

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Previous experience as an Electrical Trades Assistant (minimum 2 years) or in a similar support role within the electrical industry

Strong practical skills and the ability to follow instructions and work safely

Good communication and problem-solving skills

A positive, team-oriented attitude and the ability to work collaboratively

A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
